Recent excavations on site show that there was a flourishing bathing culture in Komárom as early as Roman times. Whether the inhabitants of Brigetio knew about the healing treasures hidden in the earth is not known, but it is known that the Romans used the thermal water to relieve arthritis and rheumatism. The baths were an important place of social life and recreation. So it is today: come to us to heal, relax and recharge your batteries! One of the main attractions of Komárom, the city of fortresses, is its high-quality thermal water. The Brigetio Spa is located in the heart of the city. The 62 degree Celsius water, which was declared a medicinal water in 1967, has been serving our guests for almost 50 years.
The pools in our spa area contain calcium magnesium hydrocarbonate, chloride and sulphate certified medicinal water (total anions and cations: 1265.55 mg/l, Ph: 6.4). Two outdoor thermal pools (32-38°C), an indoor thermal pool (34-36°C), a whirlpool (33-35°C), an indoor pool (25-28°C), a teaching pool (30-33°C) and in summer an outdoor pool (24-26°C), a water slide (25-28°C) and children's pools with play elements and a snake slide (27-30°C).
A lift is available for disabled guests.
In our medical department you will find electrotherapy, balneotherapy, medical packs and specialist rheumatology clinics and therapists. There is also the possibility of complex balneo-physiotherapeutic treatment in the spa. Treatments can be provided with or without OEP subsidy and are offered by a team with a strong professional background.
In addition to bathing, our guests with families and small children can enjoy themselves in our playgrounds.
Our archaeological sandbox, designed to teach young children about Roman monuments, is a popular activity. Every morning we hide replica Roman pots here, and when the little archaeologists have dug them up, they can take the "treasures" home with them.
For our active guests, there are sports fields (beach volleyball, basketball, foot tennis) and sports and entertainment programmes..
Thermal outdoor pools (30-38 °C)
Our two thermal outdoor pools are open all year round. One of our thermal pools has a temperature of 36-38°C and the other a temperature of 30-33°C. The water is changed every 24 hours with a fill and drain system. Water depth: 0.8 m.

Indoor thermal pool (34-36°C)
Our indoor thermal pool is also open all year round. The water is changed every 24 hours using the "fill-and-empty" method. Disabled guests have access to the water via a chair lift.
Water depth: 0.9 m - Children under 14 are not allowed to use the indoor and outdoor pools of the thermal baths for health reasons!
Jacuzzi (33-35 °C)
The whirlpool opposite our indoor wellness pool is open all year round. The water is changed every 24 hours by filling and draining.
Water depth: 0.8 m. For health reasons, children under 14 are not allowed to use the pool.
Indoor swimming pool (25-28°C)
The swimming pool is open all year round.
Water depth: 1.8-2.2 m. Size: 33x17 m.
Indoor swimming pool
The indoor swimming pool is open to the public all year round.
Physiotherapy group sessions are also held in this pool.
Water depth: 0.9 m. Size: 6x17 m.
Outdoor pool (22-25°C)
The outdoor swimming pool is open during the summer season.
Water depth: 1,3-2,2 m.
Adventure pool with slides (25-28°C)
Our adventure pool is open during the summer season. It has a small slide and a family slide.
Water depth: 1-1,5 m
Children's pool (27-30°C)
We offer families two children's pools with different water depths, fun elements and a snake slide. The pools are open during the summer season.
Indulge yourself in our sauna garden! The sauna garden is designed with natural materials such as wood, stone and tiles.
Recent excavations have shown that the bathing culture in Komárom-Brigetio was already important 1700 years ago.
The Roman-style rooms include two Finnish saunas, a steam sauna, a Kneipp tread room and a salt room.
